Waikato Times Hamilton Gardens Summer Festival 2009

Not long to wait now, the programme for the 2009 Waikato Times Hamilton Gardens Summer Festival is coming very soon.

The programme will include some exciting concerts such as “Tonite’s the Nite” The Australian Rod Stewart Show starring Morgan Kent, “Ichi Go Ichie: Once in a Lifetime” featuring Japanese musicians Wa San Bon and Hamilton’s own Wai Taiko Drummers for a performance full of power and passion, and the Opening Night " SBS Pacifica Party" starring headline act King Kapisi the Pacific’s most influential hip-hop artist.

Other highlights include “Vino A Musica” an evening of wine and jazz, the sumptuous period extravaganza “The Imaginary Invalid (Le Malade Imaginaire)” set in 17 ^th Century France, beautiful opera “La Finta Giardiniera”, and much more theatre, music, Shakespeare, family events, readers & writers, visual art and other great events.
