Collect, Create, Roll

On Sunday 22nd of February a crowd of Hamiltonians participated in a large temporary sculpture work called Collect, Create and Roll. Used plastic bags of all sizes and colours were looped onto the boardwalk rails to create the largest plastic bag fence in New Zealand. The mass of bags was left on the boardwalk to blow and rustle in the wind for the Festival week; a specacle of colour and movement. Then on Sunday 1st March the artwork was transformed into an enormous ball for display at the Waitakaruru Sculpture Park.
